| Tips for a Successful Repair
1. Clean, dry breaks make better repairs. If possible, cover the rock chip with a piece of scotch tape a.s.a.p. to prevent contaminants from entering.
2. Get the rock chip repaired immediately to keep it from spreading.
3. If it is an outside repair in cooler weather, (spring, fall, winter) park vehicle facing into the sun if possible to warm the glass before the technician arrives. In the summer, park in the shade or face the car opposite the sun if possible.
